JULIE LEE - THE WEDDING PLANNER

Julie has always been passionate about event planning, design, and event management at a very young age. As a high school student, she was already planning events for thousands of other students across multiple states. Her interest began by conducting speeches and planning training conferences on how to organize community service events. In college, Julie graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies with an extensive background geared in business management. During her time at CSU Northridge, Julie was heavily involved in providing campus tours as a University Ambassador and executing campus marketing events for large crowds. Naturally, Julie has always had a passion for interpersonal, group, and organizational communication, building relationships, managing a team, and providing intutive customer service and outstanding marketing presentation in any environment.

 

Upon graduation, she has had the privilege to work with a celebrity wedding planner, gaining experience with weddings and events at notable venues such as The Ritz-Carlton, The St. Regis Resort, The Pelican Hill Resort, Rancho Las Lomas, The Millennium Biltmore, and private celebrity estates. Julie would also take on part time roles at different hotels, resorts, and venues to gain more insight into hospitality and event management. She directly managed several events at a time when clients began to request Julie specifically, while gaining work experience in the field.

 

Naturally, Julie progressed excellent skill-sets in the wedding and event planning industry.  She is able to build productive relationships in collaborating with event vendors, mount bridges between two families joining in union, and multitask it all while intuitively moderating guests to create the perfect event for her clients. Julie enjoys the creativity and challenge of transforming the ideas of the couple and implementing them into the design and style within the decor. Her organization and meticulous attention to detail has proven to make it it a stress-free and enjoyable day for her clients time and time again. Even under pressure, Julie carries a positive and fun approach, with a problem-solving attitude to graciously guide her couples throughout their wedding day.

 

Julie's favorite part of the wedding planning process is to build long-lasting relationships with her clients and discover their unique style as a couple. Many of her couples hire her time and time again for their other special life-moments such as baby showers, private parties, and more. She embraces each couple's vision, taking the bits and pieces of their personalities, passions, and interests and finds creative ways to implement these elements of a couple's personality into the wedding day. Each wedding truly becomes a celebration of the couple, their families, friends, and loved ones as all the moving parts come together to create a memorable event and a work of art. She values a boutique-sensibility about her business, taking the time to know and understand each of her clients.

 

In her free time, Julie enjoys writing, cooking, nature hikes, and exploring new areas. It is not a surprise that she scopes out new potential venue spaces while trying out a new restaurant or discovering unique craft cocktails at her favorite spots.
